Cambridge School Showcase in Kingman Unified School District

The Center for the Future of Arizona (CFA) and Kingman Unified School District are pleased to invite you to a Cambridge School Showcase to learn how the district has how the district has created a grade 6-12 college-going pathway that prioritizes deep learning with the Cambridge International instructional system. Kingman USD is opening their doors to school leaders from across Arizona to learn how their innovative implementation of Cambridge is supporting statewide goals to increase postsecondary attainment.

Event Description

When:

Tuesday, February 26, 2019 from 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM

Who:

Superintendents, charter network leaders, curriculum directors and other district leaders, middle and high school principals, and other education advocates - all are welcome

Objectives:

• Learn from school leaders how Cambridge's internationally benchmarked curriculum and high quality assessments in grades 6-12 are preparing students to succeed postsecondary education and careers
• Explore with teachers how they are transforming classroom practice to prioritize inquiry, problem-solving, and mastery
• Hear from students how Cambridge’s emphasis on mastering subjects in depth is helping them build confidence and opening doors to new college and career opportunities
